Modern Horizons 3 Commander
Eldrazi Incursion Upgrade Guide
Commander:
Strategy
Ulalek copies Eldrazi triggers, so every ramp spell that produces colorless mana compounds later turns. The precon leans on big Eldrazi payoffs but is short on early ramp and consistent card draw. Prioritize turn-two mana rocks, cheap Eldrazi Spawn/Scion producers, and effects that reuse enters-the-battlefield triggers.
Opening turns & play plan
Aim to land a rock on turn two, a colorless creature or Spawn producer on turn three, then start copying Eldrazi triggers with Ulalek from turn five. Save Ulalek's activation for the biggest ETB or annihilator trigger in the turn cycle, not the first one available.
